You might encounter the following error message when trying to do “Direct Print with Attachments” for a Maximo record selection that includes some PDF files as Attachments.
“Errors encountered. For details of the error note current time and ask your system admin tocheck server log. Error:ERROR: Could not merge all files. Ask administrator to check server log”.

- If the PDF file includes an incorrect trailer and that PDF is added as an Attachment, then you will not be able to do “Direct Print with Attachments”.
The PDF trailer cause of the issue is shown in an error message the SystemOut log.

- On the other hand, if the PDF file includes a trailer and that PDF is added as an Attachment, then the “Direct Print with Attachments” action will complete: the Details reports and printable Attachments will be printed successfully.
