PC5250 Bypass Sign-On Generates E0004 Message at 7.1 Version of Access

Problem

This document states that PC5250 bypass sign-on function is not working at 7.1 of the client.

Resolving The Problem

With 7.1 IBM i Access for Windows, client users are receiving error E0004 - Invalid password when using Bypass Sign-On.

This is a known issue resolved by ensuring that the current client service pack has been installed.
