Hardware Requirements for IBM systems:
The Netfinity EXP300 is supported in configurations where it is con- nected to an external SCSI connector of various supported SCSI adapters or controllers installed in Netfinity servers. The Netfinity EXP300 provides data transfer performance based upon the adapter or controller capability to which it is attached. It supports split SCSI bus and clustering configurations.

Hardware Requirements for Non-IBM systems:
Supported in configurations where it is connected to an external SCSI connector of various supported SCSI adapter or controllers installed in Netfinity servers. The Netfinity EXP300 provides data transfer performance based upon the adapter or controller capability to which it is attached. It supports split SCSI bus and clustering configurations.
Supported Operating Systems:
Netfinity EXP300 functions with the network operating systems supported by the controller installed in the host system.
Limitations:
- Half-high HDDs are not supported
- Hot-swapping of HDDs is restricted to an HDD that is inactive or where a lighted fault LED is indicated
- The standard Netfinity EXP300 configuration is supported as a rack-drawer and is not supported for stacking directly on top of one another.
- Some configurations may not be compatible.
Supported Software: Software will be supplied by the attaching system. No special software is required nor supplied.
