This Netfinity adapter supports network and power management standards. It complies with the Wired for Management (WfM) baseline v1.1 specification for remote server management and ACPI power management. It is managed by simple network management protocol (SNMP) and provides DMI 2.0 instrumentation. It also meets FCC Class B, CISPR B, CE Mark, and UL requirements for electrical emissions and safety.

Hardware Requirements

IBM Netfinity 10/100 Ethernet Adapter 2. For 100BASE-TX operation, a UTP-5 cable with an RJ-45 connector is required. For 10BASE-T operation, a UTP-3, -4, or -5 cable with an RJ-45 connector is required.

Software Requirements
There is no mandatory software; however, a server operating system that supports networking is required. Device drivers for all leading server operating systems are provided.
