  • AMD dual-core 8000 Series Opteron processors with 1 MB of L2 cache per core
  • AMD quad-core 8000 Series Opteron processors with 512 KB of L2 cache per core
Memory
  • Eight DIMM connectors per processor card, supporting
    1 GB, 2 GB, 4 GB and 8 GB of PC5300 CL3 ECC DDR SDRAM RDIMM.
  • Uses interleaved memory populated with two DIMMs at a time with of the same size DIMM.
  • Supports mixed memory sizes in pairs.
  • Features Chipkill memory.
  • System memory can be expanded to 128 GB by adding three processor cards and 32 x 4 GB PC5300 667 MHz SDRAM RDIMMs
