Overview

IBM System x offers a single port 10 GbE SFP+ Embedded network adapter, based on the Broadcom BCM57811S controller chip, for selected IBM System x M4 rack server platforms. It leverages Broadcom's controller technology, which is designed to provide outstanding performance, efficiency, and scalability for the enterprise data center. This BCM57811S-based network adapter is an excellent choice for virtualization and cloud-computing applications.
