Troubleshooting
Problem
ORACLE 23 introduced support for tables to include BOOLEAN datatype columns.
When metadata is imported into Cognos Analytics via the ORACLE JDBC driver, the data type of the column is not shown as BOOLEAN.
Symptom
The <cognos>\drivers folder include a copy of the ORACLE JDBC driver 23.2.0.0.0 or an older version.
When metadata is imported into Cognos Analytics, type is shown as unknown in Cognos Analytics.
