Troubleshooting
Problem
Function based indexes can cause the database update process to return an oracle 1408 error. The resolution is to drop the index before the update and then add it again after the update is complete.
Symptom
The error in the log looks similar to this:
create index reportrunqueu_ndx1 on reportrunqueue (priority,submittime) tablespace MAXIMO
