Option to save separate SPSS data files through the Split File dialog

Problem

I would like to create 4 new SPSS data files based on my categorical 'product_code' variable. I have four product codes, so I ultimately want to end up with 4 different SPSS data files. There doesn't seem to be a one-step process to do this through the menus. I either have to cut out a quarter of the records and paste them into a new data file (4 times), or do a filter deleting unwanted records (4 times). Can we file a Split File enhancement request, so that there is an option to save separate SPSS .sav files through the Split File dialog? This could be similar to the option of saving a new file when you filter data. If this function is not currently available, could a macro be written to perform the task?
