Optimiser Assigns Work to the Resources on a defined Holiday

Troubleshooting


Problem

Steps for setting up a holiday on Calendar.

1. Go to Calendar application and select "Define/Apply Non-Working Time" action

2. Click on New Row and add the Description, Start and End Date on the fields and select the Type as "HOLIDAY"

3. Select the checkbox besides the holiday and Click "Apply" button

Holiday should show on the Calendar  e.g. ANZAC day on 25th April, 2019

Steps for replicating the issue:

1. Go to Graphical Assignment application and create a work list with schedule window including the Holiday defined above.  e.g. ANZAC day on 25th April, 2019

2. Select "Create Spatial Scheduling Scenario action and enter a scenario name

3. Select "Run Optimization" action

Check  "Include Calendar Breaks" option

3. We observe that the optimiser assigns work to the resources on the defined Holiday

NOTE: Yellow coding means the labor is not available to do the work
