Executing the HPCC benchmark suite using Open Message Passing Interface (MPI) 1.5.5 generates a HWLOC error on both Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6 (RHEL6).2 and SLES11.2. An example of the error message follows: Hwloc has encountered what looks like anerror from the operating system. object intersection without inclusion! Solution
The error message indicates that the Portable Hardware Locality software package has not been downloaded and installed.
Instructions from downloading and installing the Portable Hardware Locality software package are available on the Open MPI web site at:
Workaround
The error message can be suppressed by making the following environment variable assignment (on each server involved in the program execution):
| HWLOC_HIDE_ERRORS=1 |
