When using Excel and enter a dynamic SQL parameter marker substitution from the spreadsheet, the error: Driver does not support this function

Error can be produced by passing a parameter that the user enters into a Cell of a spreadsheet in Excel to the Query Definition in MS Access so that the MSQuery returns only the records requested.
Once a Saved Query in MSQuery is available, user can edit it and add input ? 'Parameters' to the SQL.

Cause
SQLDescribeParam function was disabled when DBTY = DVS is set in the data source.
