Obtaining current link status data

To obtain the current road link status data access the TMDDLinkStatusMsg REST service that is provided with Interim Feature 1 for the IBM? Traffic Information Hub.

Before you begin

Ensure that the trans_tmddpublish_ear serviceis running on the IBM Intelligent Operations Center portal server.

About this task

The TMDD LinkStatusMsg REST servicecalls the operational database on the IBM Intelligent Operations Center database server toretrieve the latest link status data. To publish this data in XMLformat you must authenticate as a user with Traffic operator permissions.

Procedure
From the client application submit the following HTTPcall: 
HTTP://hostname/ibm/iss/trans/tmddpublish/rest/TIHPublish/LinkStatus
Where hostname isthe hostname of the IBM Intelligent Operations Center portal server.
