This document provides a checklist for Operational Assistant Cleanup.
Resolving The Problem
The following is a list of objects that are cleaned up by Operational Assistant cleanup. These objects must be manually cleaned up:
Note: The message queues for the following IBM-supplied user profiles are not cleaned up by Operational Assistant cleanup (automatic cleanup):
1. The security journal QAUDJRN is not cleaned up by the Operational Assistant cleanup function. If this journal is used, change and delete journal receivers periodically.
2. The journal receivers associated with the following journals are cleaned by Operational Assistant cleanup:
Journal for Job Accounting Data
Journal for Document Internalchange Architecture (DIA) Files
Journal for the APD Licensed Program
Journal for Managed System Services/400 Licensed Program
Journal for Distributive Systems Node Executive (DSNX) Log
Journal for Application Development Manager Transactions
Journal for Project Logs
Journal for Work with Order Requests
Journal for Application Enabler OFC Files
Journal for SNA Distribution Services (SNADS) Files
Journal for SNMP
Journal for Problem Database
Journal for Performance Adjustment Data
Journal for the X.400 Licensed Program
IBM OfficeVision for IBM OS/400 Program

The job accounting data journal is cleaned up only if a Y (Yes) is specified in the Save job accounting information about completed output field on the Change System Options display. To find this display, type GO SETUP and select option 1. If there is an N (No) in this field, the accounting data journal must be manually cleaned up.
You will not see option 1. Change cleanup options unless profile User Class is *SECADM.
