Troubleshooting
Problem
After installation and configuration, the Object Server does not start and the Error: Command failed message appears.
The log file shows a similar message to:
2020-05-06T08:49:57: Error: E-IVM-002-018: Failed to initialise vendor middleware
2020-05-06T08:49:57: Error: E-STK-102-007: [nstk]: Failed to initialise IPC library via NIpcServerInitialise(). (-19:General failure)
2020-05-06T08:50:29: Error: E-IVM-005-001: OpenServer - Error: 16012/10/0: Can't open log file '/opt/IBM/tivoli/netcool/log/A_TO_D_GATE_1_vendor.log
