'Object reference not set to an instance of an object' error connecting from i2 Analyst's Notebook to iBase v9

Troubleshooting

Problem

After upgrading to i2 Analyst's Notebook v9.2.2 and i2 iBase v9.0.0, I try to connect to my iBase database from i2 Analyst's Notebook.

This error is thrown.
System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. at i2.iBase.Database.CFields.Interop.i2DBtlb.Ii2DBFields.Add(Ii2DBField field) at CallSite.Target(Closure , CallSite , Ii2DBFields , Object ) at System.Dynamic.UpdateDelegates.UpdateAndExecuteVoid2[T0,T1](CallSite site, T0 arg0, T1 arg1) at CallSite.Target(Closure , CallSite , Ii2DBFields , Object ) at i2.iBase.Functions.idChartFunctions.mBuildFieldLists() at i2.iBase.Functions.idChartFunctions.set_Settings(idExpansionSettings value) at i2.Notebook.iBase.ANB.Plugin.CDatabase.EnsureConnected(LNChart objChart) at i2.Notebook.iBase.ANB.Plugin.CDatabase.set_CurrentChart(LNChart value) at i2.Notebook.iBase.ANB.Plugin.CDatabases.DoOpen(Boolean blnNoPrompt, String strDatabaseFile, String strSecurityFile, String strUsername, String strPassword, Boolean blnNoPromptForCase)

The same error is thrown if I try to send data from my database within i2 iBase User to i2 Analyst's Notebook.

Resolving The Problem

This error is resolved in i2 iBase v9.0.2.  Download and install the newer release.
Uninstall is not necessary. You can upgrade in place.
