Troubleshooting
Problem
Getting message OB0900 xxxx not a valid command, when entering a command in classic.
Cause
Security update job not run after a new command has been added by maintenance.
Resolving The Problem
A new command has been added by a PTF. The security job &hilvl.RKD2SAMU(KO2SUPD) must be run in order to activate the new command. Alternatively you can use ICAT/PARMGEN to run the security update job.
Notes:
- Other classic monitors have different names for sample library and member - replace the two character product code (D2, O2) with the product code of your monitor. Use ICAT/PARMGEN to run the security update job in case you are unsure, which job to run.
- Usually there is an SMP/E ++HOLD DOC and/or ACTION to remind you to run the security update job.
