Problem(Abstract)

Numeric fields have a zero (0) in them after the EMPTY extended rule function runs to clear their value. (SCI59256)

Symptom

Numeric fields have a zero (0) in them after the EMPTY extended rule function runs to clear their value.
Receiving a zero (0) in a field that should be blank

Cause

When an extended rule references a numeric field and that field is empty a default value of zero (0) will be placed in that field. There is an extended rule after the EMPTY command that references the field specified in the EMPTY command.

Resolving the problem

The map has to be modified so that the EMPTY extended rule function is the last rule to run in the output record that references the field to be emptied.
