This document provides information about resolving a CPF5035 message when trying to FTP a file on the IBM iSeries family of servers that has NULL FIELDS.
Resolving The Problem
When trying to FTP a file on the IBM iSeries family of servers that has NULL FIELDS, the FTP session has a FTP Reply Code of 426 and the following message appears in the joblog: CPF5035 RC19 - An unexpected null field was found.
In the FTP session, do the following command to allow the FTP of Null Fields:
quote SITE NULLFLDS 1
