Not enough memory during physical restore

Problem

Ontape physical restore failed with not enough memory error

Symptom

You configured TAPEBLK size to a high value (e.g. 65536 KB) for increate the backup restore performance. Ontape backup was successful with the TAPEBLK setup; however restore failed with “Physical restore failed - not enough memory” error.

The OS trace/truss command revealed, ontape utility failed during shmat() or mmap().
