Not able to access Atlas application after database refresh.

Troubleshooting


Problem

Not able to launch Atlas application after performing a production database refresh to stage environment.

Symptom

Failed to launch Atlas application and the application throws the following error.
"A system error has occurred. Contact your System Administrator for assistance."

Atlas --> WebSphere

Diagnosing The Problem

WebSphere application server SystemOut.log has following exception.

com.ibm.ws.webcontainer.filter.FilterInstanceWrapper service SRVE8109W: Uncaught exception thrown by filter LoginFilter: java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: pagecode.PageCodeBase (initialization failure)

Resolving The Problem

  1. Stop the WebSphere application server for Atlas.
  2. Clear the wstemp , temp folder contents from <WAS_INSTALL_DIR>\Profiles\AtlasSuite.
  3. Start the WebSphere application server for Atlas.
  4. Launch Atlas application again and login to Atlas.
