Problem
Stages may not extract extended ASCII characters correctly when connecting to a non-Unicode SAP system. The technote was originally intended for BAPI stage, but then extended to all stages.
Symptom
The following error message (or similar) is displayed in the job log:
BAPI_BUS_EVENTGROUP_LIST,0: Invalid character(s) ([xF6]) found converting string (code point(s): A1=Esimiesty[xF6]n ensiaskeleet) from codepage UTF-8 to Unicode, substituting. [nls\converter.C:823]
