Troubleshooting
Problem
You instrument with the IBM® Rational® Test RealTime™ (TestRT) cvisual8 target deployment port (TDP) and Microsoft® Visual Studio 2005. In this situation you might encounter an error. The result is that the instrumentation fails. The operating system is Microsoft Windows®.
Symptom
The full error message is as follows:
UTF-16:Unrecognised BOM 202f at
c:\progra~1\rational\testre~1/lib/scripts/attolcc_cl.pl line 76.
Note the hexadecimal number after BOM varies.
