5. INSTALLING IBM STERLING B2B INTEGRATOR
=====================================================================
Check the Sterling B2B Integrator Version 5.2.6 System Requirements before installing or upgrading to ensure that your database and operating system versions are still supported, and update them as necessary. Note that only Java SE Development Kit Version 7 is allowed.
Users who are upgrading from Sterling B2B Integrator Version 5.2.x, who may be accustomed to downloading a smaller jar file to install their upgrades, must now download the large file.
As of V5.2.6.0, you must use IBM Installation Manager to install or update Sterling B2B Integrator on Windows and UNIX operating systems.
For step-by-step installation instructions, see the installation and upgrade documentation in the Knowledge Center.
NOTE:
- While installing Sterling B2B Integrator v5.2.6.5, you may see the following exception in the InstallService.log:

This error message is expected if you are upgrading or patching your system to Version 5.2.6.5, as the exiting Certificate keystore is automatically being converted to IBM JKS keystore. This error only happens once to indicate keystore format conversion.
