Problem

Verify network connectivity to iSCSI network interface of the VSAN

Resolving The Problem

Here is a quick procedure to verify iSCSI connections:

  • Verify network connectivity to iSCSI network interface of the VSAN using vmkping, verify iSCSI configuration file /etc/vmkiscsi.conf.
  • Verify that the initiator is running.
  • Disable and re-enable iSCSI initiator and rescan LUNs.
