Summary
If you connect to Microsoft Active Directory on Windows from an Engine installed on Linux, there are extra %0a characters (line feed, new line) added to the LDAP string that the cURL command uses to query the LDAP server. The new lines will cause the cURL command to fail. Connecting from an Engine installed on a Windows server does not seem to have this problem.
