This document describes the necessary information to aid in quicker resolution of IBM ILOG CPLEX Optimization Studio IDE and OPLRUN related questions.

Resolving The Problem

Collecting Must Gather data early even before opening a service request with IBM Support can help reduce the resolution time.
After a case is created with IBM Support please collect as much information as you can from the list below and upload it to the support case.
Gathering general information:
1. IBM ILOG CPLEX Optimization Studio version and fixpack applied: You can find this information under the README.html file located under the installation directory of IBM ILOG CPLEX Optimization Studio
2. Operating System and version being used
3. Error message, screen shots
4. Are you able to reproduce the issue with one of our samples provided with the product distribution
5. If you are familiar with OPLRUN, can you reproduce the issue with OPLRUN
6. Can you share a minimal sample to reproduce the issue
Gathering installation and setup information:
1. Was IBM ILOG CPLEX Optimization Studio installed with administrative access
2. Does the user using it have administrative access
3. For Windows machines: Is it installed under a non Program files directory
4. Are you running the model local/server/DOcplexcloud with seeds
5. Default JRE version installed
