Problem
The user opens an iBase database, but it throws the error message, "Non-system configuration settings can only be obtained when the database engine is connected.
Cause
This problem is caused by the database not having sufficient permissions in the public role.
Resolving The Problem
To solve this problem, grant these two permissions to the public role as shown in the screenshot below:
