Vulnerability Details
DESCRIPTION: OpenSSL could allow a remote attacker to obtain sensitive information, caused by the failure to immediately close the TCP connection after the hosts encounter a zero-length record with valid padding. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability using a 0-byte record padding-oracle attack to decrypt traffic.

Affected Products and Versions
Remediation/Fixes
- Users of IBM Cloud Private for Data V1.1.0, V1.2.0, and V1.2.1 are advised to upgrade to IBM Cloud Pak for Data V2.1.0.1, the Long Term Support Release and to upgrade to IBM Cloud Private V3.1.2. These users may also upgrade to a later version of IBM Cloud Pak for Data and a supported version of IBM Cloud Private. These users may contact IBM Support to determine the appropriate action for them.
- Uses of IBM Cloud Private for Data V2.1.0 are advised to apply the IBM Cloud Pak for Data V2.1.0.1 Fix Pack and to apply fix packs for ICP V3.1.2.
