Troubleshooting
Problem
When you try to compile source code on IBM® Rational® Application Developer (RAD) v7.0, you might get an error message stating "java.lang.Object not found" in the Problems view.
Symptom
This problem has a couple of symptoms:
- 1. After building, you will see an error message stating
java.lang.Object not found in Problems view2. The JRE Library classpath container visible in the Project Properties > Build Path or in the Project Explorer is empty or does not contains all the libraries from the used Java runtime
