This technote explains why the error, Error: Input in flex scanner failed, occurs while attempting to open the IBM® Rational® ClearCase® xclearcase graphical interface on Linux® or running clearimport.
Symptom
This error is reported when trying to open the xclearcase graphical user interface (GUI) on Linux or when running clearimport:
