Abstract
An exception prevents you from upgrading IBM Business Automation Workflow 18.0.0.1 to 19.0.0.2 or a later version in Linux PowerPC Little Endian (PPCLE).

Symptom
You get the following exception:
Failed to locate the jar file /opt/IBM/mvt/AppServer/CaseManagement/configure/plugins/com.ibm.ecm.configmgr.app.acm_18.0.0.201806251400.jar for jar operations
Cause
If the 8.6.10018001-WS-BPM-IFPJ45389 and 8.6.10018001-WS-BPM-LinuxPPC64LE-IFJR60019 interim fixes are installed in the source environment, IBM Installation Manager tries to uninstall them when you try to install IBM Business Automation Workflow 19.0.0.2 or later versions. However, the 8.6.10018001-WS-BPM-IFPJ45389 and 8.6.10018001-WS-BPM-LinuxPPC64LE-IFJR60019 interim fixes can't be uninstalled successfully.
Environment
This issue occurs on 8.6.10018001 source environment with the IBM Case Manager feature enabled.
The following deployment environments are impacted:
- IBM Business Automation Workflow Standard Workflow Center
- IBM Business Automation Workflow Standard Workflow Server
- IBM Business Automation Workflow Advanced Workflow Center
- IBM Business Automation Workflow Advanced Workflow Server
Resolving The Problem
Before installing Business Automation Workflow 19.0.0.2 or a later version, you must uninstall the 8.6.10018001-WS-BPM-IFPJ45389 and 8.6.10018001-WS-BPM-LinuxPPC64LE-IFJR60019 interim fixes manually by completing the following steps:
- In IBM Installation Manager, click Uninstall.
- Select 8.6.10018001-WS-BPM-IFPJ45389, and then click Next to uninstall this fix.
- When these fixes are uninstalled, return to the IBM Installation Manager main page and click Uninstall.
- Select 8.6.10018001-WS-BPM-LinuxPPC64LE-IFJR60019, and then click Next to uninstall this fix.
After the interim fixes are uninstalled, you can install the Business Automation Workflow 19.0.0.2 or a later version.
