maximo-x Work Center login fails after close/reopen of browser

Troubleshooting


Problem

After logging in to the maximo-x work centers successfully, then closing and reopening the browser the login may hang.
e.g. only seeing the flying BUG image and nothing happens.
If the cache files are cleared and then close the browser and open it again, it works again.
It is related to the images that are being cached.

Symptom
