"No coordinates found" error when mapping address with i2 Analyst's Notebook Connector for Esri

Troubleshooting

Problem

I would like to use an address instead of latitude and longitude coordinates to map an entity with Connector for Esri.
When I try to map the item, it will not map and I see "No coordinates found" in the "Sent Items" tab of my Connector for Esri pane.

Resolving The Problem

There are a few things to check when you receive the "coordinates not found" error, when using address with the Connector for Esri.
First, make sure you are using an Esri server connection that includes geocoding services.
The sample maps provided with the Connector for Esri (shown in the screenshot below) do not include geocoding services, so entities can only be mapped using latitude and longitude coordinates.

You can check whether your connection includes geocoding services by looking to see whether "Select a Geocoding Service" is populated on your "Geocoding" tab on the Connector for Esri pane.  In the screenshot below, there is no Geocoding Service available.

When using an Esri map that does include geocoding services, check with that geocoding service documentation to ensure the address is in the correct format.
Last, ensure that you have configured the Connector for Esri to look in the right place for the address.  In the "Options" tab of the Connector for Esri pane, click "Specify details" to configure the places addresses will be defined.
