Installation wizard UI of Cognos Analytics 11.0.x stuck right before the installation itself can be started

Problem

When doing the installation of Cognos 11.0.* the .bin or .exe installation file just has to be executed to start the wizard. After having selected the appropriate options the UI wizard come to the point where it summarize the installation + show required and available disc space. This last UI does not show up. Instead the UI stuck for good.

Symptom

This final summary page at the end of the installation wizard process UI does not show up. Instead the UI stuck for good.
