Abstract

This document describes how to download and install IBM® Db2® Data Management Console.

Download Description

IBM® Db2® Data Management Console is an integrated database management tools platform for IBM Db2®. It is simple to set up, easy to use, and enterprise ready with the ability to manage hundreds of databases.

Downloading IBM Db2 Data Management Console 

To download the latest modification of IBM Db2 Data Management Console, go to Db2 Download Center.

To download the fixes and updates for IBM Db2 Data Management Console, go to IBM Fix Central.

To deploy IBM Db2 Data Management Console as a docker container, go to Docker Hub.

[Optional] Artifact signing and verification instructions

  1. Download ibm-datamgtconsole-sig.zip, which includes both the publickey and SIGNATURE FILE to verify the signed IBM Db2 Data Management Console images.
  2. Extract ibm-datamgtconsole-sig.zip and place the relevant .sig and publickey files under the same folder with the specified image.
  3. Run the OpenSSL command.
    openssl dgst -sha256 -verify <PUBLICKEYNAME> -signature <SIGNATUREFILENAME> <FILETOSIGN>
If the certificate is valid, the output is: Verified OK
Example:
openssl dgst -sha256 -verify publickey -signature ibm-datamgmtconsole-3.1.1-aix.tgz.sig ibm-datamgtconsole-aix.tgz
