IBM Z is moving to the new IBM Support site to replace the IBM Service Request Tool

Abstract

IBM has introduced a new IBM Support site to replace the IBM Service Request Tool. IBM Z software products and offerings have been migrated to the new IBM Support site, while IBM Z Hardware will migrate at a later date.

This new IBM Support site will allow for:
  • Improved product selection
  • Simplified search
  • Greater visibility into the status of your cases

What has happened:

  • Existing SR IDs were automatically  moved to the new IBM Support site
  • Existing SRs/PMRs have been converted to Cases

What to do:

  • Familiarize yourself with the above URL https://www.ibm.com/mysupport/s/ and review the videos below
  • Review any Automation or Process you have for sending in Documentation to IBM
    • PMR Numbers change to CASE numbers in the format TS123456789
    • Ensure Required APARs listed below are installed on your system
