Summary
The Role-based batch filtering feature provides a security mechanism by restricting the access to the batches that depend on the authorization level of the user for a particular application. With exclusive batch filtering, only members of the group assigned to a batch are able to see the batch in the job monitor.
If Exclusive filtering is enabled in the Datacap Application Manager, Datacap Navigator will assign by default the batch scanned by a user to the corresponding group; if a user belonging to multiple groups scans a batch, the batch is assigned to the group with the highest weight.
