Problem
In Cognos Analytics, when creating a Planning Analytics data server using the REST connector, if a cube contains many Subsets then users may experience poor performance when navigating cube metadata or running reports against the cube. Intermittent connection errors may be thrown when loading the metadata tree for the cube in Reporting or Dashboard, or when attempting to create a Data Module from the cube. Using a Cognos TM1 connection type does not show the same performance issues.
