There are multiple vulnerabilities in IBM® SDK Java™ Technology Edition, Version 8 used by IBM Decision Optimization for ICP4Data. IBM Decision Optimization for ICP4Data has addressed the applicable CVEs.

DESCRIPTION: Eclipse OpenJ9 is vulnerable to a buffer overflow, caused by improper bounds checking by the jio_snprintf() and jio_vsnprintf() functions. By sending an overly long argument, a remote attacker could overflow a buffer and execute arbitrary code on the system or cause the application to crash.

Users are strongly encouraged to upgrade to IBM Decision Optimization for ICP4Data 2.0 or higher.

Workarounds and Mitigations

The only solution is to upgrade the JDK.
