Summary
The VMware ESX/ESXi (API) password changer verifies (heartbeat) and changes VMware ESX/ESXi passwords with the VMware vSphere API. Password changing and discovery for IBM Security Secret Server 10.6 is tested with VMware PowerCLI 10.1.1 and vSphere PowerCLI 6.3. You must install either version on the servers that are running discovery—your local Secret Server computer or computers that are running distributed engine. Earlier versions of the password changer are now deprecated.
