Troubleshooting
Problem
You would like to use a jndi.properties file with the WebSphere® Transformation Extender (WTX) JMS adapter instead of specifying adapter commands.
Resolving The Problem
The WTX JMS adapter provides commands to specify JNDI environment properties. Instead of defining these environment properties at the adapter command line, you may want to or are required to use a jndi.properties file. To do so, you need to set the JNDI method to system.
-JM sys | env
This command is optional.
| Command Option | Description |
| env | Specify use of the adapter commands to set environment properties. This is the default value when the command is not used. |
| sys | Specify use of the jndi.properties file to set environment properties. |
The jndi.properties file must exist in the CLASSPATH. You can also place the jndi.properties file in the <wtx_install_dir>\java\lib.
Note: See your JMS provider documentation or JMS administrator for an example jndi.properties file. The content of the jndi.properties file is specific to the JMS provider you are using.
