Abstract
This document gives the steps for installing the Rational Software Application Developer (RSAD) plugin. The installer is available from IBM InfoSphere Data Architect 9.1.4 APAR 6 but is applicable through all APARs.
Content
1. Check the installed packages in Installation Manager. Install the latest version of InfoSphere Data Architect APAR.
2. Check the installation details for the compare plugin com.ibm.xtools.comparemerge.core in the InfoSphere Data Architect application. If the version timestamp, as highlighted in the screenshot below is less than v20190225_1102, you have the older version of the plugin. Update the plugin to ensure the compare options are not affected.
3. Unzip the latest APAR folder to get the installable, RSADFix_For_CompareContributor.zip. Open the InfoSphere Data Architect application and go to Help. Click Install New Software.
In the 'Work with'>Add option, navigate to the mentioned unzipped folder and select the installable. Ensure you uncheck the 'Group items by category'.

Click Next and follow the wizard until Finish. Restart the InfoSphere Data Architect application after installation.
4. Recheck the installation details for plugin com.ibm.xtools.comparemerge.core. It should reflect the updated version timestamp, v20190225_1102.
