Solution
This notice is 'Fix On Contact'.
Users with large production installations can contact their
marketing representative, business partner, or Lenovo service and
support to engage the Lenovo Project Office so as to have a
Dedicated Resolution Owner (DRO) assigned to help manage qualified
replacement.
The removed parts are the property of Lenovo x86 and should be
returned as per the user's country guidelines and local branch
office procedures.
Users who have a Hard Disk Drive Retention Policy, for example,
Banking and Trading industry, will need to engage the Project
Office prior to service.
AMERICAS:
Replacement for three (3) or less hard drives is fulfilled by
Customer Replaceable Unit (CRU) order. All field service support
requests must first be committed and approved by the Project
Office. Customers who require more than quantity three hard disk
units OR onsite field service must be handled by Lenovo x86 Project
Office via Complaint Management Tool (CMT).

Additional Information
A manufacturing condition occurred during the production of the
1TB, 2TB, 3TB, and 4TB hard disk drives which may affect the hard
disk drive durability and impede read and write activities. A
serial number if verified to be included in the disclosed serial
number list means the manufacturing condition is present and
support advise replacement of any hard drives found on the serial
number list that is attached to this tip.
