|
[root@n150 71977]#
./qlgc-lnvgy_fw_fc_26xx-4.72.12_linux_32-64.bin -s Supported Adapters discovered on Server |
Affected Configurations
The system is configured with one or more of the following IBM Option part numbers:
- QLogic 16 Gb FC Dual-Port HBA for IBM System x, Option part number 00Y3341, any replacement part number
- QLogic 16 Gb FC Single-Port HBA for IBM System x, Option part number 00Y3337, any replacement part number
This tip is not system specific.
This tip is not software specific.
The 4.72.12 firmware for the Qlogic 16 Gb FC adapter is affected.
The system has the symptom described above.
Solution
This behavior will be corrected in a future release of QLogic FC adapter firmware.
The target date for this release is scheduled for second quarter 2016.
The file is or will be available by selecting the appropriate Product Group, type of System, Product name, Product machine type, and operating system on IBM Support's Fix Central web page, at the following URL:
    http://www.ibm.com/support/fixcentral/
Workaround
There is no workaround. However, the error message is not functional and does not prevent the firmware update from applying.
Additional Information
An error within the installation script generates the message, but does not prevent the update from working.
