Problem
When using OneCLI or UXSPI to update firmware of the listed ServeRAID controllers from VMware ESXi6.0, the update will fail with error message "No applicable update available". (where OneCLI = One Command Line, UXSPI = UpdateXpress System Pack Installer)

Symptom
When using OneCLI or UXSPI to update firmware of the listed ServeRAID controllers from VMware ESXi6.0, the update will fail with error message "No applicable update available".
(where OneCLI = One Command Line, UXSPI = UpdateXpress System Pack Installer)
Affected Configurations
The system is configured with at least one of the following:
- Lenovo Custom Image for ESXi 6.0.0, Base Install
The system is configured with one or more of the following IBM Option part numbers:
- ServeRAID M1210e, any model
- ServeRAID M5210 SAS/SATA Controller for IBM System x, Option part number 46C9110, any any
- ServeRAID M5225-2GB SAS/SATA Controller, Option part number 00AE938, any model
This tip is not system specific.
The system has the symptom described above.

Solution
Update to the Lenovo Custom Image for ESXi 6.0.0 Update 1.
The file is or will be available by selecting the appropriate operating system type at the following URL:
Workaround
Update the controller using the Bootable Media Creator (BoMC) Tool.
Additional Information
There is an issue in the inbox native lsi-mr3 driver and LSI provider on ESXi6.0, which causes the update process fail to detect and update the listed controllers.
