Troubleshooting
Problem
Boot List Targets displayed with the Integrated Management Module (IMM) web GUI do not coincide with the UEFI F1 set up utility. If there is a valid boot target selected as the first boot target in UEFI. In IMM web, the World Wide Name (WWN) of the first boot target (Target#0), the values are still 0000000.

Symptom
Boot List Targets displayed with the Integrated Management Module (IMM) web GUI do not coincide with the UEFI F1 set up utility.
If there is a valid boot target selected as the first boot target in UEFI. In IMM web, the World Wide Name (WWN) of the first boot target (Target#0), the values are still 0000000.
Affected configurations
The system may be any of the following IBM servers:
- System x3530 M4, type 7160, any model
The system is configured with one or more of the following IBM Option part numbers:
- Emulex 16 GB Fiber Channel Dual-Port Host Bus Adapter, Option part number 81Y1662, any replacement part number
- Emulex 16 GB Fiber Channel Single-Port Host Bus Adapter, Option part number 81Y1655, any replacement part number
This tip is not software specific.
Solution
The fix for this issue is already available in Emuelx build 15C-bld26 version 10.6.187.4 and later.
Workaround
Use the system UEFI to display adapter-related items, such as WWN and boot LUNs.
(where LUN = Logical Unit Number)Additional information
The IMM web information and UEFI information are not consistent because the Unified Change Management (UCM) file UEFI sent to IMM is not consistent with the value displayed in UEFI.
The workaround does not invoke UCM, Agentless code.
