Problem
After a blade is inserted into the chassis and is recognized by the Chassis Management Module (CMM), there is a delay before the management server discovers it. Some events may be missing from the management server that are correctly recorded in the CMM.

Symptom
After a blade is inserted into the chassis and is recognized by the Chassis Management Module (CMM), there is a delay before the management server discovers it. Some events may be missing from the management server that are correctly recorded in the CMM.
Affected configurations
The system is configured with at least one of the following:
- Lenovo XClarity Administrator, 1.0.1

Solution
This is a permanent restriction.
Workaround
Refer to the CMM event logs for any events that may have been missed during initial discovery/management.
Additional information
The problem occurs because even if the server is able to send the events to the management entity, the management server is not registered via the Common Information Model (CIM) interface to the blade to listen for the events.
Also, the CMM is not sending the events to the management server, but this will not help since the architecture design is to drop events from the CMM when we assume the blade will send them.
This problem is an architecture limitation.
