When saving a change to the network configuration in Lenovo
XClarity Administrator (LXCA), the user interface may take a long
time to return to the network summary view or may appear hung. When
this happens, the progress overlay stays on the screen until it is
complete, or can get stuck on the screen.
Affected configurations
The system is configured with at least one of the following:
- Lenovo XClarity Administrator, any N/A, any
version
This tip is not system specific.
This tip is not option specific.
The system has the symptom described above.
Note: This does not imply that the network operating
system will work under all combinations of hardware and
software.

Solution
This behavior is corrected in Lenovo XClarity Administrator
version 1.0.2.
The file is available by selecting the appropriate Product
Group, type of System, Product name, Product machine type, and
operating system on IBM Support's Fix Central web page, at the
following URL:
http://www.ibm.com/support/fixcentral/
Workaround
When Lenovo XClarity Administrator takes a long time to save its
network settings, if users feel the interface is hung, users can
resolve the issue by refreshing the browser. The change should
still take effect.
Additional information
The issue occurs due to slow response from the server to
acknowledge the change completion. The operation is kicked off and
should complete regardless of the current page viewed in the client
browser, so using the browser refresh feature to get back to a
navigable page should work ok. Note, the workaround may not work
properly if the network configuration change will affect current
URL address to reach the Lenovo XClarity Administrator system.
