Symptom
Lenovo XClarity Administrator (LXCA) does not see an installed
Emulex 16 Gb FC Dual-Port adapter in the I/O Adapters tab of the
Server Pattern Wizard.
Affected configurations
The system is configured with at least one of the following:
- Lenovo XClarity Administrator, 1.0.0
The system is configured with one or more of the following
option part numbers:
- Emulex 16 GB Fiber Channel Dual-Port Host
Bus Adapter, Option part number 81Y1662, replacement part number
81Y1665
This tip is not system specific.
The system has the symptom described above.
Note: This does not imply that the network
operating system will work under all combinations of hardware and
software.

Solution
Update to Lenovo XClarity Administrator 1.0.2 (FixPack 2).
The file is or will be available by selecting the appropriate
Product Group, type of System, Product name, Product machine type,
and operating system on IBM Support's Fix Central web page, at the
following URL:
    http://www.ibm.com/support/fixcentral/
Workaround
Use the Extended UEFI Pattern that was learned from the same
server. The adapter's settings can be found there. The Extended
UEFI Pattern associated with the server can be found under the
Firmware Settings tab of the Server Pattern Wizard.
Alternatively, the adapter's settings can be configured directly
through the UEFI F1 Setup menu.
The settings for that adapter are seen in the Extended UEFI
Pattern under the Firmware Settings tab of the Server Pattern
Wizard.
